Are your leads standard? If so you will need the resistive ones (Vauxhall), which are twice the price of the others.

I got some from ACT products, and I'm using standard leads for the moment, they seem to work perfectly, what is the problem using these from ACT with standard leads?

Just to "clear something up" the shrouds are only there to prevent the headers from burning the leads.
Griffs and Chimaeras don't have "special leads that need resisted adapters, they are the same as other RV8 leads , hence non resisted adapters are fine and will save you £15-20 over resisted ones.
