I got her on Wednesday and haven't stopped grinning since bounce I've called her Fluffy (yes, I'm a laydee!)

She's a year 2000 4lt Chimaera in Royal Indigo (dark purple) with cream & purple half hide. Previous owner hardly used her - 7860 miles on the clock. I'll let you know if bits start failing through lack of use as I've read on here that they can do. All seems fine so far.

As she's my only car she'll get a fair bit of use now - did a 20 mile trip to the shop that's 2 miles away yesterday - is that normal?!

No, there is clearly something wrong with you. I find the trip to the shops 1 mile away for some milk takes 40 miles. Perhaps once you get used to driving the beast you will find the extra miles ;-)

Congratulations, I bought a 1999 4Lt in October with only 6280 miles on the clock. Have done 1200 miles and no probs.
As long as she has been serviced OK. Mine had nearly more services than mileage!!

Good luck with her and be careful out there, especially with the right foot in the wet.byebye

Some achievement that the original owner had any time left to drive it, what with 6,280+ services. Really efficient folks, those TVR dealers...

Uhhm, the owner lived in Spain and had the car in the UK so only drove her a few miles per year. She looks new, smells new, etc, and had services each year. laugh

Excellent... long way around is usual, and they washing and polishing it in between can also become addictive.

Enjoy

I find that to. Strangely I often forget the milk as well...

Thanks for the encouragement, folks.

Now if it ever stops raining long enough for me to stop being positively pedestrian round the roundabouts on the way to work, much to the irritation of every audi/merc/VW etc in the area, I will have fun!

On the bright side though - I don't appear to have any leaks!
