Hi all,

As of yesterday, am the proud owner of a gorgeous Chimaera 450. Have always dreamed of owning a TVR so can't wait to pick it up and get driving. Just waiting for the car to have full pre-sales inspection/detailing etc and pich it up in 10 days - going to be a long 10 days!

Here's some pics:

wavey welcome to the fold chap, you have a lovely looking motor there (albeit it in a more sedate clolour ) Thanks for the pictures

As you say, it will be a long 10 days, but it will be well worth the wait.

Hello Kevin,

Welcome to the world of Chim overnship. It's a good one, although not as fast as the blue ones I suspect.

Congrats to you, too (and in line with others - do keep the right foot in check, especially in the wet)! driving

A new Chim owner on here after another in a couple of hours... you'd think they're still knocking out these things over at Bristol Ave...

Cheers all. Car will be getting lots of respect, particularly in the wet! Loved the look of others but this looked fantastic in the flesch if a little more sedate than some! Seems to be a minter - 27k miles on the clock, supplied and serviced by Mole Valley and now bought of them again. Can't wait to pick it up...

Welcome to the 450 fold - excellent choice and car looks great...but 'they' are right...Blue ones do tend to be quicker!

welcome aboard Kevin.

As it's been said, a lot of respect on the loud pedal in the wet is required.

Oh, and don't fall for the "blue is faster" stuff; it's common knowledge that Peter Wheeler had a soft spot for the grey/silver cars and made sure THEY ARE the fastest hehe

Hi to you too - last time I saw you ... you were surrounded by men in a car park in Garstang! I am guessing that you arrived home safely and that Toy No1 is better now...

Now then...where did I put those....

Gorgeous looking car. I'm sure you'll love every second..

As many ofthe others have said, be careful with the heavy boot. Even if you think your straight! Can get a bit yikes when your unexpectivatly heading towards a kerb! - But well worth the fun and looks.

Had to wait a week when I bought mine.. Still don't think I've recovered from the sleep deprivation!

It's the same colour as my Pug 206! thumbup

I'm not keen on silver Chims but this shade is lovely. A really classy looking motor. Congratulations.
