I'm so happy... anyone who remembers my thread about getting thoroughly robbed by a local garage a few months back will remember I was presented with a list of "faults" that would allegedly stop my car from passing an MOT, most of which it eventually turned out were b****cks... but still, there was a nagging fear in the back of my head that the MOT may result in a big bill for me...

Well, got it done on Saturday at a reputable local garage and... it passed! No faults, no advisories, nothing needed fiddling with, and even though I've been running it on Tescos fuel, my Lambda sensors still work and my emissions were almost zero! Who says TVR's are unreliable... also took the opportunity to fit an ACT silicone hose set and Leven cooler running kit so should be all set for a summer's hassle-free driving, hopefully...

p.s. those super-low emissions have motivated me to whip the pre-cats out too :-)

Quite a relief when that happens, isn't it?

I was so surprised I forgot to pick up my shopping on the way out of the garage's reception, ha ha

Just the pre-cats, replacement rear screen and perhaps a set of xenons (just fitted a cheapy set from eBay to my omega and they're soooooo much better than standard) and I'll be all set for the summer (and maybe a nice drive down to Le Mans in June too)...
