So there I was eating my Sunday lunch with my dear old mother , who lives just up the road from the sea front, when, suddenly there is this terrible draught! The restaurant's door had been flung open by a distraught damsel , demanding to use the WC! She used the feeble excuse that her car had broken down! After finishing my now luke warm pork and congealled gravy, I left the restaurant to find, m'lud , what I would describe as a TVR Chimera , blocking, yes blocking a local's driveway! You would think that TVR drivers would at least breakdown in places that would cause less inconvenience!
Needless to say I felt I had to remonstrate with the owner and his young lady navigator, who, in the light of the day looked rather tasty. The bonnet was up, and blue tinged water everywhere. The remedy was obvious to me. She needed to take off her stockings/tights. Always gets me going...
Hope the AA man got them back to Guildford OK
