Last year I sold my Chimaera to the Cheif Executive of the company I work for. He has now asked me for some advice on selling it (You dont say No to the Chief Exec !!)
It was first registered in 2001, but didnt leave the showroom till 2002 (The guy who bought it was in Saudi and waited a year to pick it up)
It's 2001 4.5, Rolex Blue, MAgnolia interior, only 12k miles, used at Weekends only.
Beautiful condition, full history, just had a full service and no expense spared in maintenance.

Mid teens? (Have you looked at the classifieds for comparisons?)

I did look on the classifieds yes. it's just that this one has low mileage, and didnt go out on the road till 2002. But, yeah, mid teens seems about right I suppose, Unfortunately ,

You've avoided telling us what he paid you for it last year. Sounds like he might have paid you really big bucks last year - is he likely to sack you if he's lost a packet? - why don't you buy it back for a few grand less than he paid you? Might be worth it.

I'd put it on at 17.5 if it's really that good - might get a combination of Spring and a few extra buyers that will lift the market. It's definitely the time to try - epsecially if there's no rush to close. Why don't you offer to market it for him and agree a sliding commission on anything that you can get over 14.5

Put it on for £20k. That way, all our cars go up in value...

I'd guess about £17.5 as well, and you can go down to £16 or so?

SOLD! I'll pick it up tomorrow. Not interested in a test-drive or inspection. Can you change a £20 ?

John,

Mines for sale, if you want to take a look let me know.
Its a few years older but is in really stunning condition and really well looked after.
In fact the Hertfordshire TVRCC RO came up to me and said something along the lines of 'My God thats in good condition, do you actually drive it'
It's a '98 450 with 26720 miles a/c , Garaged, FSH, full leather, £12995
I've owned it for 2.5 years and its been a lovely car, no trouble at all.
Really worth a look, just to compare to the others if nothing else.
