Really after a owners book for my chimaera, its a mk 2 2000 spec car but during its life one of the owners has either lost it or forgot to send it on with the car.i am willing to pay if anyone has a spare from either a car thats been scrapped or one that has not been sent with a car sold.
If not does anyone know where i could buy one from?

I too am searching out a replacement owners handbook for a '98 Chim.

Where do they go to?!

If anyone has a spare, or is prepared to scan a copy I'd be very grateful for a copy (mines a 4.0 but I presume anything else would probably not be too different).

mine went missing at a main dealer, i have since bought one on one ebay but it was for an early car - mine is 1998 5l. I now have the leather cover, i bought that on ebay but i still need the insides - been watching ebay for about a year now.

i had a copy of the Mk2 bible but that went missing at demon txxxks

motto - dont leave these things in your car.

I have the owners book for my 98 400, and I have a scanner.

If you do want a scanned copy of the pages I'm happy to sit down with a bottle of beer over the weekend and scan it through for anyone. It does mean that you get my service history stamps etc but you can keep / loose the bits you want.

There appears to be a few people looking, so if I can do you a favour let me know and give me an e-mail address and I'll do my best.

Peter.

I did this some time ago for my 96 Chim and zipped all the pages up into seven zip files of about 1M each - If this is of any use, drop me a mail and I'll send the zip files to you.

Is the 96 manual the one for cars with the later switchs for the lights etc or is it just the same manual for all chims regardless of age

Paul has kindly forwarded the files to me and they are for the model with the older style switches, although most of it seems to be generally applicable to the later model. There is a supplement that covers the later alarm.

For authenticity a copy of the later handbook would still be nice to have, and Peter (P400PLS) has said that he will copy his over the weekend and that would be great to have.

I'm sure I saw something on here a few months back recommending a web site that did replacement TVR handbooks... but I've searched and I can't find it.
