Just got my car back from Ian at Middlewich.Had Pro Techs on and they were ok but only ok. Ian has just fitted Gaz Gaz to the rear. Fantastic, what a difference, Derrick has set the Geometry up and the car is transformed. Can't wait to get the front ones done next month.

Blimey Pete, you may've lit the touch paper now bloke. Glad you got sorted. Seem to remember when I fitted 'GAZ' and you came on with your Protechs that some 'johnny concrete' types joined in and slagged off my inferior choice, hhmmmm, this should be interesting.
PS; that pint is lonnnnng overdue eh?

Yeah, you can laugh.
We will see if we can sort out your geometry and keep you out of the kitty litter this year for a change.

Hi Mac. Yeah, really rated the Pro techs to start with but have had a few issues just lately.Might have just been unlucky.Ian has taken off the Steve Heath drop links as well as these seemed to be rattling a lot, has put the standard ones back on and the car feels much better now. looking forward to a few blasts with those extra horses under the bonnet during the summer.

No quite sure how handling can be better with origial drop-links or why they would rattle if fitted properly!

OH FFS! weeping

Just as I had erred towards the Protechs you go and post this ... aarrrgh!

So, in the interests of my sanity, what, in your opinion of course, was the problem with the Protechs.

Mine is going into Ian in a weeks time for a major service and hopefully (if anyone ever gets back to me to confirm) new front bushes fitting and full Geo set up.

I will then take a view on the dampers.

oo just saw this thread, so it wasnt that the car was just too low and running on the bunmps stops then like the last time i saw it? If there's a genuine problem please call me and I'll note it for any future orders. The interesting thing is Derek at Ab Shocks has just ordered some Protechs for a customer of his who specifically asked for them, so obviously not that bad then
