Smaller front plates
Discussion
I had a 11x3 inch plate made (I think it is a motorbike size) ordered from a stall at the NEC show a while back.
I did this to improve the cooling, and it certainly did. It worked so well I had to replace it with the original plate over winter (for that rare dry/sunny day drive) because the temp would barely get to 65.
Being sceptical about mods in general, I have to admit that it reduced like for like temp by 10 degrees minimum - take that for what it is worth.
The small plate will go back on when it warms up.

Poor angle for viewing the number plate, but you can make out the 3/4 size plate from fancyplates.com - Were it on straight, it'd be even better.

I went for a vinyl plate above the TVR badge on the bonnet. Primarily to increase airflow through the front grille, but it also makes the Chim look much meaner with a big gaping intake on the front, and kind of reminds me of a Ginetta for some reason.
Should add, not sure if vinyl plates are technically legal, but my car passed its MOT with it, and I've never been pulled over for it either, which is more than you can normally get away with when you fit a non-standard sized plate.
