Silencers taken out today!

oh mama! cant stop laughing, sounds incredible when gunning it and ticking over. Two stainless steel sections replacing the silencer, with the mounts welded back onto the straight through pipes.

Local stainless exhuast place did it, only £80 too! Best money ive ever spent!

I hope you have removed the precats as well...

just to let you know to... the doesnt feel like its lost any power and it actually feels a little smoother with slightly less kangarooing under 2K RPM. it also wont back pop that much unless you step back on the throttle on engine braking, so seems to be running well with the mod.

It wont loose power doing this mod anyways the fueling on this car is not that particular,as Andy says get those precats out,it will sound better still,i have recently done this and cars sounds deeper at rear and more ringy at the manifolds,you can her the camminess more now under the bonnet(HC model)wont be doing the silencer mod though,to much of a nuisance for my liking,oh and the underbonnet temperature is more bearable now the precats are out.
