Seems like a good set up for not a bad price, what do you think?

Cheers

We reckon its pretty hot!

Have that exact kit on my 500, and it stops like you hit a bollard. Very powerful and controllable. Mine are black, fitted five years ago, and no problems (though I don't do a lot of miles).

Hi-spec do get a drubbing in some quarters, and there have been reports of calipers warping and the like, but as I said I have had no problems with them.

I have fitted these in black as well, and agree they work really well and look the dogs.
I opted for 280mm grooved only discs as I had heard stories of the crossed drilled discs cracking.
They did say that they were going to develope a set for the rear of the car as well, but I don't know if they ever did.
I would recommend these to anyone, and NO I'm not on a commission!!

Try and ignore the scabby paint on the chassis, these are also black on'es that I fitted
nearly a year ago, no problems todate

Wish I'd seen this before I rebuilt mine, I rebuilt them with the standard calipers and aftermarket drilled grooved discs, Mintex Xtreme. It all works fine, but no real power gain.

Can anyone tell me what's needed to fit these calipers, like adapters or spacers, do they fit the standard Sierra 260mm discs?

I'm very tempted to get these!

Thanks

Jack

Ok, read it again, forget the question about fitting on 260's and needing adaptor's (duh, read the add ;-), but next question is will the 285's fit under standard 15" Estoril's?

Thanks

Yes, no problems... snug but easy. On mine the calipers are on alloy adaptors and it's a neat straight forward conversion.

Yes, mine were under 15" Estorils until I recently swapped them for 16" Estorils. No clearance problems, I think this kit is about the biggest brakes that will fit inside the 15" ers.
