Elf Premium plus, any good?

Sorry for creating another oil thread. Since the Chim holds 6.5 - 7 litres its not really economical to buy two 4.5 litre bottles at £45 each for an oil change. So I have decided to buy bulk. Going to 25l barrels. I found a source of 10-50W Elf Premium plus in this size. But its a semi Synth and I have never heard of anyone using Elf on a TVR. Anyone used it?
