Water pump needed

Hi

The water pump on my chim packed up today, thankfully i noticed before any damage was done.

I need a new one, can anyone tellme-

a) How much they are and what part/make am i looking for?
b) Are they a hassle to fit without disturbing any other parts ie the cam?
c) How long should it take a mechanic to do?

Any help would be great

You get nowhere near the cam. Pretty straightforward replacement TBH. Standard bits, any supplier of Rover V8 bits should have them, there's some on ebay. A decent mechanic should get the job done in not much more than an hour.

There are several pump variants, so if you're planning to do it yourself make sure you get an exact match. If you're buying online / mail order that means going through an RV8 specialist who will ensure you get the right part. RPI have an excellent parts department.
