Chimaera and Cerbera PCD ?
Discussion
Hi there guys,
Please go easy on me. Im new in here.
I'm currently looking into purchasing my first TVR and i think i've found the car for me. I have a question though.
Is the wheel PCD and offset of the Chimaera 500 and Cerbera wheels the same?
I really fancy a set of Spyders for the Chim.
TIA

So, what is the PCD and offset for a Chimaera then. 4 x 108 and ?
Might be worth a search or two on the Chimp and Medallion transporter forums, been well covered and there's no hard and fast answer TBH... ET35 has been used front and rear with success but the fronts are usually less (28?). Sourcing aftermarket wheels can be problematic as suppliers are wary and the necessary widths seem a little outside the norm for the Ford & co PCD pattern. Pleasing results have been achieved though
And some total horrors
It depends what you call easy!
If you're handy with a lathe it might be, but you need to change the hubs to some that have been converted to 5 stud (along with some other parts) basically.
It took me a couple of days to do (with the parts at hand), but that was with brake upgrades etc....
I might have a 3/4 finished set of 5 stud hubs available (got most of the way through making them before I decided just to cough up and buy the full kit) if they're of any interest?

Ok i've taken the plunge and bought a Chim p 500. Might be changing my mind on whether or not to change the wheels. They handle so well on their 16's. However does anyone know if you can still buy the Raceline RL7's brand new?
Sure you've not bought a Griff? Get that pedal gunshot wound seen to at the hospital
