I took my 500 to an airstrip on the weekend, to give it a thoroughly good thrashing. But didn't get much of a chance...

After a thorough check and warm-up, I took it to around 150 over half a mile before taking it back down to more mundane speeds. But I noticed that it began making a clack-clack-clacking type noise, reminiscent of those clacker things that football supporters would twirl at matches way back in the 60s and 70s.

When maintaining a constant speed, the noise fades away, but whilst idling or accelerating the noise is prevalent, with the succession of clacks increasing in line with any increase in acceleration.

Any pearls of wisdom gratefully received...

I had what sounds like the same issue, diff bolts at CV joints coming loose and knocking to frame.
