What a great day for a V8 Thrash!!!

Just got the battery replaced on my key fob and wondered what the proceedure is to make it work? Is there some kind of special recalibration process I need to go through to make it work?

Any advice would be greatly received as always!!!

You need a working transmitter as well as the one you want to program in...

Using the working transmitter operate the alarm 16 times consecutively with less than 8 seconds between each operation

Then within 8 seconds work the new transmitter, this will only work once at first.

Then work the alarm with the original transmitter and you are done.

*** However *** I'm not sure you should need to do this if all you have done is change the battery, as the signature of the transmitter shouldn't have changed and should still work without reprogramming in.

Hi Red V8!!!

Alarm now up and running! Thanks!

Had to take the fob apart and then "recylcle" the alarm system as advised by Barnet TVR (awesome service, and great people!). All working correctly now which means I can now let the wife take it to work. OoooH!!!

By the way, she absolutely loves the TIV!!! Means I get off scott free for buying it!! WOOHOOO!!
