What sort of stuff can you throw in the boot, as in weight wise ?? Reason I ask is i'm about to go and have a meal with my parents but want to try and call into a garden center on the way back and buy 3-4 bags of compost. Rather than take the V*uxhall I'd rather go in the Chim on a nice sunny day like this (and hack across the A272), can the boot take the weight just like any other car ?? I know I'll probably do my back in trying to get them back out but i'll deal with that later........

4 bags of compost won't be a problem at all for the boot.

If you empty the compost into the boot you could also bury the ex-husband. It's HUGE!

Thanks all. In the end I didn't need to use the Chim for needless tasks like shopping, I was enjoying myself so much on the way home I completely forgot about the trip to the garden center and when I did they were all closed. Oh dear, how sad, never mind. Saved some money though so better put it back in the tank for next weekend......

Everyone is always amazed at the size of the boot>

This weekend I had a bottle of galor gas, 100 Litre bag of compost, paddling pool (in it's box obviously) and a bag of sand (all at the same time)

Add some fertiliser and you've got a barrack buster there - only joking!
