Oil Smoke, Accelerating, Right Hander
Discussion
Taking a large roundabout enthusiastically the other day at about 3500-4000 rpm I noticed smoke in my rear view mirror.
Eased off, pulled over to check everything expecting to find some kind of spill of oil onto a manifold or somesuch but no sign. I'm not too keen on replicating it to see if the smoke comes from the exhaust (I'd have to have a follower to tell me) so what next?
Any ideas?

If you'd just been doing a lot of high rev stuff, it could of been oil trapped in the rocker covers and a bit of oil being dragged through the breather into the inlet manifold and through the combustion process, hence a briefly smokey exhaust.
One of the problems we get on the race car is oil trapped at the top end of the engine after continuous high rev running, despite enlarging all the drains in the valley around the cam and around the pushrods in the heads, plus the drains added into the timing chest, its still happened once or twice.
