Oh yes they are very good. Have known the guys for a couple of years now. Darren is an ex Griff and Chimaera owner so they do know their stuff. Underwritten by Allianz who's claims payment is second to none.

Just beware the bit about the car having to be tucked up in the garage every night (before 10pm I seem to remember). Bloody good price tho' - cheapest for me by over £300!

They are an excellent firm to deal with I also sent them pictures and got an agreed value no issues. As you say it has to be your second car and kept in a garage with limited milage...dont remember anything about being locked away but a certain time though

When I was shopping around recently Hagerty were the cheapest but it was a classic policy which doesn't accrue any no claims bonus, so I opted to pay a bit more with A-Plan and still clock-up NCB.

The bit about garaging the car is on page 8, para 2 of the policy in the "What is not covered" bit.

Still v good deal tho'. Must dash, have to go and drive somewhere (anywhere!).

Guys,

Thanks for the recommendation!

Darran at Hagerty was absolutely fantastic and halved my insurance premium that I previously had with Elephant. Excess was also much lower and I got excellent Mondial Breakdown cover for half the price of AA!! Overall am absolutely over the moon!

If you've got a TVR and you want an unbeatable quote, give him a call!!!
