Need a new oil filter for Chim 500 (1998).
Landrover one a bit expensive.
Local Car Parts shops says a Fram PH5443 for a Range Rover 4.6 will do the trick.
Anyone know better?
Cheers

Sorry Simon.
Your profile says you own a garage, got the impression you might be in the Maidstone area. SK's are a Maidstone motor factor, I know they do good quality like Knecht so as I was being lasy thought you might know if they did the Mann ones.
Of course if you are nowhere near Maidstone you may not have the foggiest idea of what I'm on about!
Is the Chim back together yet?

If you're having trouble finding one, when I bought my last one, I was hugely suprised to find out that it is the same filter fitted to a 2.0 Ford Pinto engin of cortina, capri and sierra fame! Now, there not rare.....

Keith i am not far from maidstone, had a few part supply problems loads still to do(remember i got sidetracked),
not done yet bringing home next weekend, hopefullyKnecht is another good brand,i would never by a cheap filter if it collapses internally(and they can) it could cost you the engineeek
