can anyone recommend a good car battery for the chimaera 450 that will fit in the space / box provided?

Many thanks,

Can't remember the exact number(I'll have a look when I get home) but I do recommend getting it from halfords. They do one with a four year warranty. Just make sure you keep the reciept. It will come in handy in about three years when the battery dies. Just don't forget to get an updated reciept for use in another three years!

They just keep giving me new batteries! I'm on my third battery now, what a saving!

It's an 072 type battery, but look for one with around 630A cranking capacity.

Varta do a heavy duty type 096 with 650a cc. The reverse model has the terminals in the correct places & it is a snug fit in the battery box. Varta ref:96 reverse.

Mine's a Varta! Not sure of the 'model' though.
