Leven hood & car cover
Discussion
I'll vouch for the quality and usefulness of the hood cover. Grab yourself a bargain there.
I've got one for the Griffith and wouldn't be without it. I regularly leave the roof at home but always carry the hood cover because its no faff to fit and keeps out prying eyes. It was a godsend at BT&P last year when the previously unknown TVR fitted option 'ejector roof panel' prematurely went off on the M1. I could still carry on the journey and cover the car overnight with the hood cover.
I have no affiliation to the seller. In fact, I don't think I even know him - probably because I gave up golf years ago

How easy are they to put on?
SWMBO is quite short, and usually in a dizzy blond rush, so the quicker and simpler it is to put on the more likelihood of her using it!
Zim,
LL.
ps. does anyone else think these products are a little expensive...? I bought an entire breathable cover for loads less money!

Which bit you talking about LL ? The hood cover is quite thick so a bit on the heavy side for what it is, because I'm tall I just throw it over, but I guess it wouldn't be too difficult for someone shorter with a bit of thought. It only covers the windows and roof so its not too bad and once you've got it roughly on it pulls around easily. You tuck a flap into the bonnet and into the boot for security and clip over the wing mirrors to stop it flapping about in the wind.
Expensive if you buy them new yes. 2nd hand no. Mine is worth every penny I paid for it for the convenience it gives me.

Is the full car cover designed to fit a Chimaera ?
I bought a Classic Additions full breathable cover for use under my carport and it fits well. It has 3 straps to clip underneath and has survived SW winds well through the winter. It also stops the neighbours cats messing up my roof which now needs Renovo-ing.
I agree about the roof covers, they seemed an horrendous price.
