Title explains it all really.

Mine is looking a bit tarnished/faded but does anybody make them or is the best I can hope for a used one in slightly better condition from (say) a breakers yard?

Apologies if this has been covered before...as I'm sure it has at sometime or other.

Cheers

They come up on Ebay quite regularly. I just replaced my Chimaera 450 badge for exactly the same reason.

Leven do replacements, nicely finished in domed resin, on an exchange basis.

friend of mine stuck my old badge in his blasting cabinet and it came out a very fetching gold colour. Just needs some black infill. IIRC the same applies on the front badge.

The prices are very reasonable (or they were when I got mine done). The product is great and well worth a few quid...

Really? A shame if they have - they're quality products.

In effect, I think that's pretty much what was done before, although on an exchange basis.

Leven upgrade is the best I've seen, used for both Chim 500 and new Tuscan

I know this is probably daft question - but how do you get the badge off without damaging paintwork? I'd like to get mine refurbished.

Fair point...I've no idea either...is it as simple as look in the boot...anyone?

two nuts; 8mm IIRC. Couldn't be simpler.

For front removal and refitting, get someone to hold it in place so's not to damage the paintwork.

yesLook in the boot, peel the carpet back. Climb in boot, undo two nuts. Try to exit boot. Call for help. Wait for help.
