Somethings leaking......help!

I started having a misfire the other day and started some preliminary investigations last night. It became very quickly apparent that one of the HT leads was loss (the drivers side closest to the windscreen) apologiies no idea that the number is... Had a quick look to find that it was covered in oil and had obviously slipped off/come loose!
After further digging into its look like something is leaking from (or near to ) the 2 metal pipes than run from the back of the engine along the top of the head a few inches above all the plugs.
Anyone any ideas what these are? it looks ( and smells ) like oil - but could be steering fluid? any thoughts?
It's 98 4l.

the two metal pipes on driver side bolted using the rocer cover bolts are the heater pipes. Black bulb shaped bottle on back of air plenum is pas resivior mine has leaked here before.
Also rocker covers leak for a past time, try and see if the bolts are loose. Easier to tighten as the drivers side is a pain to remove due to the water lines and fule lines.
