Held the flag for Chims at Shakespeare Raceway today and got a respectable 13.6 with 103mph final speed.

4.5L, managed to beat an R33 GTR and an EVO VI

Didn't notice anyone elses times sorry. TBH everyone seemed to be running slower than expected, grip was a real problem, I would expect to get low 13's at the pod.

saw a chim at the Pod today running low 15's I think he was having a lot of grip issues

so low 13's would be impressive

I was just braking into the 14's in my company Focus

If it was the cooper green chim running high 14's, that was me! And yes, my lack of grip was an issue... stickier tyres needed for quarter mile runs, methinks... and more power...

Hey JUT,

I was going to come and say hello, but couldn't find you after your runs, and what where you doing hanging around with the Ford Crowd?

Was there for a friend's birthday, he runs a 4x4 Sapphire Cosworth and is a member of the Passionford forum but he wussed out of running yesterday cos his diff was making funny noises, apparently. Plus he didn't want to blow it up before driving it to Le Mans... I probably should have exercised similar caution but at least nothing seems to have been broken or dented except for my pride!!!
