well, picked up my Chim yesterday. Absolutly love it! bounce bounce bounce bounce

So I've decided to take the day off tomorrow as it's supposed to be sunny and was wandering if anyone can give me some points to great driving roads nearby me. driving I live in the Gatwick/Crawley area.

Cheers all!

Why not join your fellow Sussex Tiv owners and see what your new toy can REALLY do.

We get together once a month every month during summer for a a REAL blast through the best roads in Sussex for hooning.

We usually meet at the Old Barn Nursery (Garden Centre) on the A24 about 4 miles south of Horsham.

We then make out at (say) 7ish on a Sunday morning (when the roads are Numpty free), stop for a brekki & chat at about 9ish and are home by 11ish before the other halves are even out of their nighties.

You'll learn some great roads and meet some great people.

Quite a few strangers join in - I was one myself last summer.

Just add your name to either thread - each thread is for a different date - and pop along and join in.

Derekg500 is usually the chief honcho but I'm staging a bloodless (well...fairly bloodless hehe) coup on the 3rd of June before being overthrown again in time for Derek's next run.

Don't worry too much about keeping up...there's some seriously slow Tiv owners in this neck of the woods

'Billynomates' (AKA The Dark Lord) has instigated an initiation ritual: Newbies buy everyone breakfast on their first run. hehe

So do you have to live in that area, or can anyone join in? I live in the Herts area and would happily make the trip...

Your more than welcome to join in - we're not elitist in any way - It's not your fault you don't live in Gods Own County. hehe

Seriously, feel free to put your name down on either previously mentioned thread or (or as yet unposted future thread).

If I can get my seat back in by then and have my new shocks and springs in place on my rear end then I'll be up for it !! (If I can't get the Chim going can I bring my 'G' car or is it a Tiv only outing ??!!)

(Got to be home in time for when my parents come down for a walk on the beach though or there'll be nonoargue)

It's more about the people than the cars - but obviously TVR's are the preferred vehicle of choice for the outings - after all, how you gonna keep up in a Ginetta? hehe

Seriously: 'G' cars welcome.
