When I turn the ignition on (either start the engine or not) there is a loud bang/pop noise coming from the boot area? Has anyone experienced this type of problem before or know what it might be ?
Search threads on the carbon cannister, which allows your tank to breathe - there have been several on this subject. You can test by seeing if the noise goes away if you loosen the petrol cap (which should be sealed).
