CB installation

Guys,
I want to install a CB radio in my Chimaera but am having difficulty in finding a mounting position for it, any ideas. I guess I could just screw it into the top of the dashboard, or maybe bracket it off the walnut veneer, or the central console?
Also where can I put the 6-foot whip-aerial and get a good signal, the wings are plastic and if I screw it into the roof, the roof won't fit in the boot too well?!

Can't you get away with just a handheld? Do you really need the power that a full car installation gives you?

Yeah Ok, Yiw, ya got me.
I couldn't possibly do anything like that to my lovely Chimaera's interior....just wondered what sort of response I'd get on here . He heee.
Good to see there's people out there with a sense of humour!
