Canto open the drivers side window, passanger side is fine. I have checked the switch and had the speaker out and wiggled wires and hit morors but no joy. The window just stopped working not sure what caused it. Can anyone help? Are the driver and passanger windows on the same fuse? Im sure I can hear an electrical click when I press the open button but no feedback through the motor or the glass itself.
If I need to take the inner door off for a better look is there an easy way for a tvr newby to do this? Only had the car a week and it would be nice to drive with roof off and windows open.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
please please please... cant get it into a garage for a month and will be going to the lakes in it for b/h w/e at end of may... would be great to have a window for that.

Could be a simple dead motor fault. Or a window stuck in the runners and not refusing to budge. To do anything requires the door car to be undone. Descrption in the bible. As is all (I think) the fuse layouts and variations. You would need to check which one your car has as there are about 11 to choose from.

With the speaker out you can get to the motor connections, unplug and pop 12v across the motor and see if its the motor thats not well, then you can work backwards.
