Hi all

I will soon be putting all the parts back together and am thinking about the petrol pipe.

When i took the old one off i was a bit concerend about the proximity of the pipe to the exhaust (I know it cant catch fire if it leaks as it needs a spark) and the condition of the copper(?) fuel line.
I was thinking of going down the the route of stainless braided rubber hosing for the fuel in/return and for the carbon canister (if i decide to put that back on).

So far the only braided hose i can find is rated up to 20 psi.
Any reason why that should not be enough...for some reason i have my doubts and am sure i read somewhere that the fuel pressure valve shuts at 30 psi...???

Hi Andy
no help for your question, but I was thinking about this problem, as I am going to be changing my lines in the future, and wondered if the metal casing would transfer heat via the connections
to the fuel inside the pipe, so reducing the efficiency of the fuel.
