New TVR Recruit
Discussion
My Griff has done nearly 72k.....
....it still scares me sometimes!
Seriously though
Welcome aboard!
Providing you have a good service history detailing what's been done I think you can go into the purchase with a clear vision of what's been looked after. The Rover V8 is a great old warrior.
But I will give you an inkling of some things to look out for, because they're things that mine is now needing:
diff
steering rack
anti roll bar (come adrift)
Whilst there are plenty more things that might cause more maintenance needs, my experience is borne out by plenty of others, keep on top of the service schedule and a reasonable mileage TVR can prove great value precisely because it gets used (which is why most of buy them in the first place!). A TVR that only comes out to play once a month can be a right PITA!!!!!

No!!!, Don't be worried, with full history it should be fine, 66k in 6 years is about average for a normal everyday car, this shows that it has been used!!, as a car is supposed to be!!!, In general I think you will find that the TVR's which are used everyday tend to be more reliable than those that come out 2-3 times a month!!!!
