The power for the relay is taken from the alternator output, the heavy cable, undo nut and place fused connector onto this and replace the nut(connect to pin 30). The black negative connector is placed onto the nearest engine earth(pin 85).The relay should be mounted with the wires downwards.
Run the two wires carefully to the starter motor(heavy cable to pin 87, light cable to pin 86, using the heat shrink in places of heat. At the starter unplug the small spade connector, then place the male(heavy cable from pin 87) into it and then finally the female(from 86) goes onto the connector.
