Have got my eye on one, it is a chim 500, on a v plate, done 40k, have had it checked out at levens needs varoius bits doing to get it in tip top form have estimated about £1800 to get it that way, it is not a broken car just general ware. It will also need some new back tyres.

It is up for £15850.00

What do you all think????????

Hard to give an opinion without seeing the car. Is price private or trade? I would have thought £15K fully fettled would be about right if private. (If as described, and assuming it's not one of those low resale green/red/yellow ones)

Positives about the car:

Obviously not run on a tight budget (private plate, accessorised steering wheel etc)

Like any deal, if it's good for you it's a good deal. I'd still say thick end of £17k when fettled is top side for a private deal.

Dj Jules i sold my 500 a few month ago . It was immaculate 98 later rear lights 22,000 in Kingfisher with grey hide . I did work for a certain TVR dealers for a while and then Ford . The car wanted for nothing it went for 14.5K .
Yes if it was on a ferrnies it would be probably 17-18K.







Just had major service , The car went from North Wales to Sweden via Denmark without fault .

That should give a idea , makes sure its right ! as bad one will cost you plenty .
