Starter motor bolts.

Can anyone please tell me the size of the starter motor allen head bolts please.
I have to change the clutch next week and need to buy the socket adapter for the
difficult to get at bolt.

I think their 8mm but it was a while since i removed mine for chassis painting,clean the recess out with a sharp pick 1st to make sure the key goes home all the way.

Rover engines have imperial threads, it is more than likely imperial tools will be the correct fitment for imperial bolts.

I recently changed my clutch (1995 serp, T5 box) and found that I didn't need to remove the starter motor/ bolts at all. (After spending about 1/2hr removing it!)
