driveshafts

My mate recently snapped his driveshaft, he ordered a recon one from a TVR breaker and when it turned up had a ford logo on it!

Does anyone know what ford these are off for future reference, it all fitted a treat tho and its all working again now. I think his diff is the GKN (lots of fins) one.

Im right in thinkng there are 2 different diffs on chims, would they use different length shafts and what year was the diff changeover ??

Ford Granada MK3 scorpio shape is the shaft i am informed,not sure about the joints possibly sierra cossie/granada cross maybe.

Both BTR and GKN use the same driveshaft's/axles,diffs changed late 95 early 96
