For the forthcoming Le Mans trip, does anybody know where I might get some brass GB badges for the car rear?? Found Chrome, but would need a spray to match other badges.. Also, the source of foldable buckets to give the car a quick rinse!!

Thanks,

Karl.

Mini shops are always a good bet for chrome / stainless GB badges - e.g.

www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?pid=38304

www.minisport.com/classic-mini-shop/products/exterior-chrome-badges-decals/bonnet-boot-badges/gb-badge-product.html

Or eBay usually turns up plenty.

Morning Karl

I got my folding bucket of Ebay, it was only a few pounds, and works well. Here:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FOLDING-TRAVEL-

I'm not sure if you'll get a 'gold' coloured GB letters, I used Holden Vintage Spares for the chrome ones before, but they don't do gold. If you get a Euro style rear plate with GB in the left hand blue band, you won't need a seperate GB sticker?

Cheers

Paul

Halfrauds do a laser sticker cutting service?
Surely they could do it for you...but then it might be cheaper to get them made out of real gold - oh and make sure they spell GB right.... hehe

Actually I was wondering whether in fact under the chrome, they are brass. Maybe you could polish the chrome off?!
