17" Oz racing alloys.
Discussion
Looking through the classifieds, I spotted a Chimaera at Christopher Neil's with 17" OZ Racing alloys which look similar to the SP alloys. Could anyone point me in the right direction as to where to get some of these beauties? I've done a google search and can only see five stud alloys in silver the picture looks like they are four stud in the ad.
It's the green Chimaera in this link.

What should I be looking for sizewise for a 4.0 Chimaera? 17x7 or 17x7.5 or something else

Saw this car at Chris Neil's on Saturday - one of only two Tiv's in the showroom , how times change - anyway ,it looked rather good on these OZ wheels, although i would have maybe fitted a 215 section tyre at least rather than the 205 x 17's on this car.
I think these are the one's fitted ...

A good make of wheel to fit to a Chim ,as there is some TVR connection with OZ being fitted to some iconic Tiv's over the years.

I tries 3 times to get any sense out of OZ when specing my alloys but failed spectacularly. I've never encountered a company less interested in selling you a product. Ended up with "we can't do the right offsets". I replied "what offsets can you do?" and the answer was more or less "Not those. Goodbye".
If Rimstock ever manage to pull their finger out I should have my perfect fit Pro Race 1.2 s soon (2 months ... and waiting!)

Hi again, the wheels on the Chris Neil Chim do seem to be as the white ones on the OZ site -only finished in silver.
Not sure of the off sets.
If you can get no sense from OZ , try www.imagewheels.co.uk/
They have the offset info for Chim/Griff and can produce deep dish wheels to fit wider tyres.

v8devil if the wheels look like the sp ones why dont you buy the sp ones.i run sp 18"rear 17"front on my chim they look great and you know that the offset is right.with the sp you also get new tvr centre caps and wheel nuts.i get a lot of coments on my wheels from other tvr owners.if your near essex anytime come and see mine.cheers ,jay.
heres a pic from the PH ad with a good view of the wheels,
everything about this Chim looks just right to me, those wheels look smashing on it and the exterior colour is just beautiful IMO
(the ad says its starmist green, i'm not sure if it is, as starmist green is quite dull/dark usually. this looks just like BRG, anyone have a better idea?) the interior is lovely too.
i don't expect this one will be around for long, it really is good IMO!

Its a couple of years ago I bought them, from Peninsula before they were a main dealer!!!
So speak to Neil at tvrcarparts... he should remember... i originally wanted RL7's but raceline were having problems at the time and couldnt make them...
They were called speedline 2120's which are the flow formed version. Demon tweeks have them in at around 170 plus vat
7*17, 8*17 and 8*18 i think mine are 7*17

Remember it well Graham ,the great RL7 famine of 2002
I have a set on my Chimaera, but have been looking for a second set set for my 888 trackday tyres, even thought of changing hubs to five stud as there seems to be loads of Cerby owners upgrading
