just picked up the Chim from Offords. One task was the sports exhaust......OMG! Heard it drive up in front of the office and it was sooooo rumbly with a lovely bark. Nearly made me disgrace myself,

Just go and do it, you know you want to. Got to find route home now with tunnels and walls.......

What sort of price is it for the exhaust? Would like a bit more noise!

£160 I believe. And they are booking about 2 weeks in advance.

Had the exhaust on my Chim improved at Offords about 8 months ago - the sounds just get better with time, if you are happy on day one, just wait for a few months until you have 'run it in'!!yes

Hmmmmmmm, exhaust mods.

My 400 was modified and after more than 40 miles at a time a pain in the arse/ears/head to be honest.

My 500 is standard, much more civilised on longer runs and less

I'm sticking with the standard exhaust.

Thats interesting because when I drove it back down the A14 for about 70 miles I was surprised the noise in the car is virtually unchanged from before.

The nice noise is on tickover and behind the car when giving it the beans

My car still has the main cat so I guess this makes a big difference

Not sure exactly what else had been done to my last car apart from de-baffling. Certainly a lot louder than standard ubder all conditions though. Got the previous owner turned away from Goodwood at 115db I believe.
