Hi everyone. I have that age old problem that when the engine is hot and i try to start it again the engine only just turns over but after some slow cranking it starts. I have fitted a new starter motor and a new battery.Could it be that the charging side is faulty. What does the stepper motor do. Could that be the problem. Who is ACT. Can anybody give me his phone number.Sorry to bour you all with the same old problem.

This sounds like the hot start problem, rather than a stepper motor problem. The stepper motor problem symptoms are rough idle. You can get a hot start fix kit from Mod Wise - www.mod-wise.co.uk
