Lifting Chimaera on 2 post lift
Discussion
I try to get the pads on the inner chassis rails. Depending on which way the car is in, the rails can be too far in. I therefore sometimes use a solid piece of wood across the rails to lift on.
If I'm lifting for a short time, I use the triangular, strongest parts of the outriggers. This is the method used by garages and indies and I think is fine, but if it's up for a day or so I feel happier using the wooden beam :-)

Thats a pretty damn good idea too. Thanks Giles. If I'm lifting for a short time, I use the triangular, strongest parts of the outriggers. This is the method used by garages and indies and I think is fine, but if it's up for a day or so I feel happier using the wooden beam :-)
