Let me know how you get on as I will be after one later in the year, small chip is turning into a crack so need to look into it soon.

just had mine changed insurance job through A-Plan, RAC windscreens did it, they have no problem getting one, they even said they could accomodate my tint with or without top tint(mine did have a top tint), only took a day to get it from the warehouse apparently too

so this shortage of windscreens is B.S. to be frank wink

Out of interest(also insured with A-Plan) did A-Plan tell you that you had to go to RAC windscreens or was it your choice?

Could you have insisted on going somewhere you wanted to instead had you wanted to?

Glad to hear it all went well - heard a few not so happy endings with RAC windscreens and TVR on here.

Anybody know where I can get a decent windscreen rubber surround? I assume they are no longer available new.

FWIW
I got my screen replaced last year by Autoglass (who, I might add did a top job!) and they had to re-use the old rubber. You'd never know though.

Had my old Chims windscreen replaced by a so called TVR specialist. He made a right Tom Walls of it. A mate of mine has recently had his windscreen replaced by the same guy. Again, he made a Tom walls of it.

The screen in the wifes Tamora is being replaced on Thursday by RAC Windscreens, Stockport. I just hope they do a better job.
