Volunteers - Body Lift Back ON!!!!

Hi Guys,

Looking for some volunteers to help lift the body back on to the chassis next weekend.
Should be a lot easier than lifting the body off....and this time the sarnies are definatley on....(forgot last time!!!!)

Andy,you know i would gladly help but i am miles away down that London like,it may be worth the trip just to see the bags under your eyesi know

Hopefullly next saturday if all goes well...Just got to do the petrol pipe and then its ready.

Maybe i should post this in the NE forum!!!

There is a slight change of plan....i AM going to lift the body back on to the chassis....move the whole thing back into the garage and then lift the body up again, mount it on supports and then have it so the chassis can be moved in and out of the garage without knocking the supports.
That way i can repaint the underside of the body, make any repairs/modifications that are needed and then repaint the shell, doors, bonnet and boot.

So yes i will be lifting it back on before 12...moving it into the garage and then lifting it up again...!

If your replacing the body bolts,you'd think like the rest of the chassis to body bolts(beside unf to the seatbelts)the floor pan would be m10,but there 3/8" unc.

All of mine have been 10mm apart from the 6 for the seat belts???
Shall have to check tonight.

So it looks like it will be an 11am start on saturday....everything is in place and it will only take a sec.

Now i just need to order some paint, wasnt there some guy on here who does paint?

Jay Ayegees is right...i am doing this tomorrow!!!

All i am doing is lifting the body on....rolling the whole lot into the garage and then lifting the body again to put it on stands so i can work on the underside and respray the body.
The idea of putting it on stands is so that i can roll the chassis out the way.
