Hi. Mine snapped the other night (whilst overtaking 2 cars on a dual carriageway yikes) and the AA replaced it with a home-made effort. The chap said it would be OK but he is obliged to advise me to have it replaced properly.
My question is, is this a job for a specialist or are the proper cables readily available?
Cheers

The cables are available from places like TVR Power, and are about £50 ish

But this includes the complete item, cable, sleeve, the bracket that connects to the throttle in the engine bay, and a metal piece which screws in somewhere.
