Hello all,
The walnut veneer on my dashboard seems to be cracking all on its own. I have removed the dashboard top several times to access the inside and was always very careful not to crack the veneer and now nearly a year later it seems to crack whilst just sitting on the drive overnight.
I get in the car in the morning and a new crack has appeared. No bits have fallen away yet. What is the best treatment. Can I lift the dash top and then dribble glue down behind the cracks to stop the lifted pieces from breaking away?
Presumably it is some sort of expansion / tension thing causing the cracks?
Any other suggestions?
Matt
