Hey fellow PHers,

I have purchased a '93 L reg Chimera 4.3l which needs some work and I would like to know if someone can reccomend any local (Farnham Surrey), suppliers/garages/trim experts etc, for the following parts:

- someone to restitch the rear screen,
- Waterproofing liquids
- New tyres on all 4 corners (toyos prefered),
- New/repair to hole in radiator,
- Replacement leather panel for the windscreen vents, or treatments to rejuvinate the leather,
- Leather cleaner,
- Carpet cleaner (steam vacs),
- Rear lit numberplates,
- Inertia reel seat belts,
- Someone to advise on chassis rup down and coating,
- Thermostat,
- Door seals strips,
- Temperature sensor,

Many thanks for the help,

Martin

For the waterseal I would suggest using Fabsil liquid from any camping outlet, it's designed for fabrics. Thompsons Water Seal is a brickwork sealer.

Evening Marts... smile

Try David Batty for the rear screen (Compton, near Guildford.
As above for waterproofing the hood.
I'll talk to you at the weekend about the leather..
Thr boss bought a rear lit plate for the Griff... will dig out the details for you.
Door seals - look up Woolies trim

As for the other bits, look up "Clevor Trevor"... and www.tvrcarparts.com

See you Saturday.

Got my rubbers from The TVR Shop. Arrived after two days and not issues with the parts.

ETA got my waterproofing from Halfords camping section (can't remember what it was called but worked a treat - was for waterproofing tents etc. Came in large clear 1.5l squirty bottle). Got my plates from http://www.demonplates.com/ Just drilled the holes in the plates and screwed in using existing screws.
