door mirror ?

Can anyone tell me what the door mirrors are of on a 98 chimera

Citroen CX, Jaguar XJ220, Aston DB7 or (I think) Lotus Esprit perhaps. They're all as difficult as each other to find at a scrappy.

Dont know about the Aston or Lotus, but I thought they were also used on the McLaren F1 (early version).

my car is in at the min for a full respray but the passanger side mirror has the small
plastic ring that clips on in front of the ribbed part missing so trying to get the holed of one

If you mean the very front part of the surround I don't think you'll get the ring alone but I bought a ribbed surround from the link that dougc gave previously http://www.computermarket.com/mall/3933C3F3/OZ_Com... for £10 and sprayed it up.

They were running short when I spoke to them to get mine (about six weeks ago) so I suggest you get in touch quickly!

Its a citroen mirror, I picked up a brand new one including the mirror glass on ebay for about £80. Cost £105 to have it sprayed to match and fitted. That included removing the door open button from the old one and moving to the new plus rewiring to match the random TVR wiring layout.

Or try calling tvrcarparts. When I called about my mirror they did say thay had some bits of mirror around , but in the end I needed a whole new unit (which they also sell BTW)
