Battery Change

I have just changed the car's battery and wished that I had done so ages ago. The replacement is an Exide X-tra+ "XP07" and it is superb. It fits the battery box perfectly, has a capacity Ah of 75 and CCA of 760. Before purchase, I checked with Exide and my TVR engineer and both were positive.

The battery I removed was a Tungstone 672, which, I believe, maybe original. How can I tell the age of this battery? If original, it is 10 years old!!!
