sat in a nice restaurant on way to Le Mans. Anyone else reading this on their way down? Roof down all the way, rain and shine - OK, rain!

Saw loads of Chims at Dover, but seemed like a strange sub-breed, as they all had their roofs up smile You TVRCC NE boys know who you are! biggrin

Is it possible that their boots were full for the weekend which meant they had the roof?

Any pictures of your trip?

Yeah, very likely, but so was mine so it's a poor excuse.smile Mind you, I got wet when it p****d down, so maybe they got it right.

Actually, I was suprised how much we did get in the boot, but had to raise the springs when lardar$e me got in. Glad I wasn't in a Griff. :waits for gorillas to arrive:

Lots of piccies, but as I was the only Tiv in a group of mates, (you could call the group eclectic) none that would interest.

No, you're not wrong about the Griff roof stowage .. pain in the bloody ass!

Me and BlueYonder got absolutely drenched on the way down on Thursday. I will never get another soft top that doesn't have a little button that you press to magic the roof up.

No, I did wander over and chat at the Speedferry port and questioned the odd roofing arrangments, but then they started loading so had to leg it back to mine.

Actually, it is a pi$$ take really as the food/cooking/beer was laid on for us by friends that live right on the Tetre Rouge corner and in whose garden we camped, so we only really had a tent, sleeping bags, clothes, tools etc and necessary defence mechanisms (super soakers, water bombs etc.)

You're right about the French though, they really like to see us giving it large, especially the kids. Good job I had the Offords exhaust done..........

My pre-cats are still in hence the couple of decibels difference between yours and mine! Come to think of it we used your test equipment as well, I reckon this could have been rigged!!
We need to measure Andy and James Cerb its got the best noise I've heard though watch out for the flames!

More importantly hows the family doing? are you settling into a life without much sleep?

Hows the refurb going as well?

Unless I've missed a trick, I beleive it's a safe bet that ToonTVRs exhaust sounds a whole lot louder than Andy W's right now...........

So Andy, how is the rebuild going? biggrin
