Just fitted new discs and pads to the 1994 4.0L Chimaera. Could not get the pistons to wind back in. Probably because of not using the proper tool! Had to clamp the hose and then open the bleed nipple and they would wind in with ease. Bled the brakes and honky dory. Thought it might save some one some head scratching. Mintex part No's disc mindc442, pad mindb1287.

Isnt it better to cling film seal master cylinder, and then open the caliper bleed nipple?

This works even with braided pipes and no need for clamping.

A lot less chance of getting air back in the brake system by using a clamp. Saves a lot of messing about.
