Got my Chim going in for a remap next week and had an idea about possibly putting in a bigger AFM at the same time... Does anyone know which one i'm after, how much and where to find one??

Do you really need one? The standard Lucas item is good for reasonable figures?

If you want one you need a Bosch item available from Mark Adams

Well at the moment I run ACT induction kit, superflare trumpets, new ex manifolds and MC1 cam and have a view to replace the heads at some point when I have the cash so the AFM would be the last bottleneck, and having seen the diameter the air has to pass through it seems to make the rest useless! So if its not too much then I might as well quickly put one on before I have it remapped to save another mapping session down the line... Do you have the product id for the bosch one?

Cant help with the product ID, but I have a virtually new (boxed) Bosch AFM (supplied by Mark Adams) for sale for a fraction of the price of a new one - if you are interested.

Right ok think i'll go with this bosch AFM, is the process described on that RPi link the same one I should use when wiring up the bosch unit? Or is there a difference (using on a 450 motor rather than a 3.9)
